Light Lightweight mp3 players
I hope everybody had a good Christmas. I got to talk to my family :) and got a couple items, so I’m pretty well off. It was a peaceful day and i always thank the lord for that.

I got to test a couple audio players yesterday and did a few comparisons of lightweight audio players.
Many people have suggested audacious as a light player and it did pretty good before I learned of using the daemon MPD. The music player daemon is truly the best. With many front ends available ( including a few command line options ) make mpd a likely addition to linux distro’s in the future. I compared MPD to audacious to mpg321:
Of course, MPD will need a front end ( I personally use Gimmix ) that requires a few resources.
Mp3 players these days have so many features and additional gadgets. *
