I hadn’t previously disclosed the license for this blog because it has never had one. For those that haven’t heard, over the last few weeks I have discovered that a couple of my publications had been re-published. Initially I was set back by this. I consider the information I write in the posts as property of the Linux community, and that my cat scratching belonged to me. So, I asked that my posts be removed from both sites and they both honorably complied. I began to think though that I overreacted, and now I am sure of it. So, after long thought, I put the blog under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License. Meaning posts are free to be republished as long as they are attributed back to the original post on this site and are for non-commercial use. I hope this hasn’t caused too much confusion, and I’d like to just get back to writing. :)
Thanks for reading.
I posted the license details in the About page.
